About Mr. Wrong Number

MR. WRONG NUMBER by Lynn Painter is a deliciously humorous, contemporary romcom.

Olivia’s entire life has been a series of freak accidents and misdeeds. The most recent happened when she tried to burn her cheating boyfriend’s love letters and set her home on fire. Oops.

Single, homeless, and jobless, she’s retreated to her hometown and is temporarily living with her brother and his bestie, Colin. Stuck up, jerky, gorgeous Colin who views her as his friend’s annoying little sister.

Life looks up for Olivia when a misdial turns into flirty and fun texting with Mr. Wrong Number.

Colin’s enjoying the sexy fun conversations with Miss Misdial until he finds out his texting partner is Olivia. Oops.

My thoughts about Mr. Wrong Number

You want tropes and fun? Mr. Wrong Number gives you:

The sexy, fun meetcute
Close proximity
Opposites attract/sunshine and grump
Older sibling’s bestie
Enemies to lovers
So much tension and attraction
Steam but not explicit

Liv is relatable as she’s trying to figure out her career after it implodes and her life after her previous one’s gone up in flames. The struggle’s real. What do you do when a guy you think is hot still sees you as the accident-prone tween you used to be? (Or does he???)

So much giggling while reading this but also some real feels for Liv and her situation.

In closing

So dive into the sassy, gigglesnorting joy that’s Mr. Wrong Number.

Great for fans of Falon Ballard, Sophie Sullivan, or Sara Desai.
