About Bet on It
Aja’s moved to small-town Greenbelt, SC because she craves quiet and calm to keep her anxiety in check. Weekly bingo is her main contact with people.
Walker grew up in Greenbelt with an addict father and an absent mother until his Gran took him in. He escaped the town where everyone knows his business as soon as he could. Dealing with his own anxiety is tough when he’s forced back to Greenbelt after his Gran breaks both her arms and needs live-in help. Which includes her weekly bingo outing.
There’s instant heat between Aja and Walker as they navigate their anxiety and their undeniable attraction to each other.
My thoughts about Bet on It
There’s instant heat between Aja and Walker as they navigate their anxiety and their undeniable attraction to each other.
There’s so much sweetness and care in this book! Not only between Aja and Walker but with their friends and family too.
I appreciated the relatableness of Aja and Walker’s anxiety disorders, how they interacted with each other and with family and friends.
And the heat! *fans self* Sweet, sticky, and juicy like the amazing peach cobbler at Minnie’s Diner that’s Walker’s favorite food
