About In a New York Minute
In a New York Minute by Kate Spencer is a sweet and funny debut isn’t just a romcom, it’s also a love letter to NYC.
Franny’s having a Very Bad No Good Rotten Day. First, she’s laid off, then her favorite dress gets caught in the subway door and torn, leaving her very exposed. Happily, a handsome stranger gives her his suit jacket. Sadly, he can’t seem to get away from her fast enough.
And then a video of the #SubwayQTs goes viral and everyone wants to know if that adorable meetcute was the real thing.
My thoughts about In a New York Minute
This is an adorable, giggle-inducing book told in alternating Franny and Hayes, the handsome stranger, chapters.
Franny’s relatable as a bubbly, enthusiastic sunshine who overshares. Hayes is a super introverted workaholic with social anxiety.
In a New York Minute gives you:
*Meetcute (disaster)
*Dual POV
*Close proximity
*Witty banter
*Opposites attract/sunshine grump
*Slow burn
*Bi and NB rep
*Great friends
In closing
This debut romcom is perfect for fans of Abby Jimenez and Mia Sosa.
