About A Cat Cafe Christmas

What happens when two people, still hurting from very bad breakups, have a meet disaster but can’t deny the insta attraction?

Kara is a vet and co-owner of Meow and Furever, a cat cafe. Her awful ex used her to steal money from the non-profit where she worked. So she broke up, got fired, and got slammed in the media. Now she’s trying to find get Meow and Furever up and running so she can find forever homes for cats and offer a low cost vet clinic.

Ben is a marketing genius who just moved across the country to escape the hurt of his breakup. His fiancee left him …for his brother. Now he’s renovating his new house and trying to help out local businesses like the new cat cafe down the street. Also? He’s not a cat person.

After their meet-disaster, Ben is forced to grovel when he finds a stray kitten in his house. And the two can’t deny their attraction.

My thoughts about A Cat Cafe Christmas

This is a sweet holiday romcom where two people with deep hurts from previous relationships are brought together by a kitten and the feelings they can’t deny.

Perfect Hallmark holiday movie and cat lovers, this is fast-paced and a quick read. There’s sweet kissing and fade to black intimate moments coupled with lots of talking about feelings. You get to see both leads in their element with professional successes. And you see them vulnerable and hurting.

Each chapter starts off with a description of a cafe cat  and it’s so sweet!

What you get:

  • Opposites attract
  • Meet disaster
  • Dual POV
  • SO MANY CUTE CATS
  • Cat puns!
  • Curvy/hefty MCs
  • Neurodivergent rep
  • Diversity – Black, Jewish
  • Great friends
  • Small town/small biz
  • Friendsgiving/Christmas
  • Competence porn

In closing

After reading A CAT CAFE CHRISTMAS, I’m ready to track down a cat cafe and visit – it sounds fantastic!

About Codi Gary

Codi Gary grew up in a small town in Northern California that no one has ever heard of.

In 2011, Codi and her husband uprooted their two children and moved two states over to Southern Idaho. They only had one car and during their first Idaho winter, Codi read all the books on her shelf (TWICE) and played a lot of peek-a-boo. But one day, while her children were napping and her husband was at work, she sat down at her lap top and made a list of things she wanted to accomplish before she was thirty.

Number One- Lose weight (still working on that!)

Number Two- Finish one of her novels

Since the time she was eleven, reading and writing was an escape, but she could never finish a story. Life, school, love…she just kept getting distracted.

But in August 2012, Codi wrote “THE END” on her very first full length novel.

It had a little bit of everything in it and man, was it terrible. But it did give her something to work with…
The small town of Rock Canyon, Idaho.

In September 2012, Codi saw an “Open Call” for Valentine’s Day novellas from Avon Books, for their new digital imprint. She submitted her first contemporary romance novella to them and ten days later, she got an email…

“Hi Codi!
We really enjoyed THE TROUBLE WITH SEXY and would like to include it in our Valentine’s Day Anthology!”

Seven year and twenty-seven books later, Codi is still writing. She is a national bestselling author and her books have sold over 100,000 copies. Right now, Codi is working on several projects and trying not to get caught up in Tik Tok. Follow Codi on social media for more updates, and adorable animal pictures!
